Code of Conduct | Privacy Policy

Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for behavior at all events hosted or produced by West Coast Interactive, LLC. By attending or participating in any event, all guests, staff, volunteers, and performers agree to comply with the following terms.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. These guidelines apply to all event-related spaces, including physical venues, digital platforms, and social environments associated with the event.

2. Expected Behavior

All individuals are expected to:

  • Treat others with dignity and respect at all times

  • Respect personal, emotional, and physical boundaries

  • Engage in roleplay or physical interaction only with affirmative, informed, and ongoing consent

  • Follow all instructions given by event staff or venue personnel

  • Refrain from disruptive behavior that interferes with the safety or enjoyment of others

  • Respect event property, props, and the space provided

3. Prohibited Conduct

The following actions are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the event and/or exclusion from future events:

  • Harassment of any kind, including but not limited to verbal abuse, intimidation, stalking, or unwanted physical contact

  • Discrimination or hate speech on the basis of race, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic

  • Non-consensual touching, aggressive behavior, or sexual misconduct

  • Physical violence or threats thereof

  • Repeated disregard of established boundaries or in-character conduct that escalates beyond agreed-upon limits

  • Possession or use of illegal substances on-site, or violation of venue-specific policies

  • Damage to venue property, props, or costumes

4. Consent and Roleplay Guidelines

Participants must clearly obtain and maintain consent when engaging in any in-character interactions that involve physical touch, emotional intensity, or potentially triggering content. Safety and consent take precedence over story. If at any time a participant indicates discomfort or withdraws consent, verbally or non-verbally, that signal must be respected immediately.

We encourage the use of established safety tools (e.g., safe words, gestures, or pre-scene check-ins) to ensure all participants remain informed and comfortable.

5. Reporting and Enforcement

Any participant who experiences or witnesses a violation of this Code is encouraged to report it promptly to a designated staff member or event safety officer. Reports will be treated with discretion and taken seriously. The event team reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary, including removal from the event without refund or future participation restrictions.

In situations involving potential harm, risk, or violation of law, local authorities may be contacted.

6. Acknowledgment and Agreement

By registering for or attending an event, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by this Code of Conduct. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, up to and including removal from the event and prohibition from future participation.
